This course is for you if you want to develop confidence and competence in sustainable land use, whether you work directly on farms, manage land resources, support rural enterprises, or contribute to the wider food and environment sector. You can dip in and out of the modules at any time, making it easy to fit learning around work and seasonal demands. 

The course takes approximately 3+ hours to complete and introduces core principles of sustainability, soil and water stewardship, carbon and greenhouse gas management, biodiversity enhancement, and practical actions that improve resilience and productivity on UK farms. It supports skills development aligned with National Occupational Standards and has been created using best‑practice guidance from across the land management and environmental sectors
